Special Forces of India

So I came up with this post because many of us don't know much about Armed Forces and special forces of our country. On 26/11 many of us exclaimed "oh we got snipers".

Well of course we have them and many of other elite armed forces guarding its frontiers from both the internal and external threats .

If the mammoth rail network (more then 115,000 km) of the country needs a special Railway Protection Force (RPF), the vast land borders (15,200 km) are guarded by the Border Security Force (BSF), Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB) and the Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP).
The internal law and order issues are dealt by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the anti-riot Rapid Action Force (RAF).
check out few Agencies and Special forces of India.
